Title (Max 100 Charaters)
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a serial "OxyContin Robber" who has hit 10 pharmacies in the past four months, including the Rite Aid at 2702 Rainier Ave. S. twice.
The man also suspected of robbing two espresso stands, and authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
In most of the robberies the suspect has implied he has a weapon, and victims have seen a handgun seen in a few of the robberies, said a spokesperson for Crimestoppers of Puget Sound.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or 30s, standing 6 feet tall with a slim build and brown hair.
Typically, the suspect approaches the pharmacy counter and demands OxyContin, a powerful painkiller.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-TIPS.
