A woman is robbed inside her home, her husband chased down and beaten - now, police are searching for the two men responsible.
It happened in the 5800 block of Renton Ave. S., around 3:30 Sunday morning.
Police say the woman heard a knock on the front door. When she asked who was there - a man asked for 'Ricky.'
She told the man to leave and called her husband at work.
Police say several minutes later, the woman heard some commotion outside her back door. When she went to check it out, she found two men hiding - one of them pointing a gun her way.
She ran to the front of the house and called 911. At the same time her husband arrived home.
The woman told officers she heard something outside and saw her husband running from one of the suspects.
With a loud crash at her back door, the second suspect held up a gun and demanded she give him money and drugs.
Police say the woman gave the man some cash and then he took off.
The woman's husband was chased down by the other suspect, pistol-whipped and beaten. He suffered cuts to his face and was taken to Harborview.
Police say when they tried talking to the husband he was: "hostile and argumentative and refused to provide any information."
Officers are continuing to investigate this case.
